Galveston Art League

About Us

The Galveston Art League's gallery hosts nine monthly shows each year featuring the artwork of its artist members and three annual juried shows that are open to non-members. The Art League is a not-for-profit organization that was created in 1914 and has been displaying local art and encouraging local artists since that time. The gallery was opened in its present location in 2004. Membership includes both artists and art patrons. There are no salaried employees and the gallery is staffed entirely with volunteers.
