About Us
Port owners along the Gulf Coast turn to Lloyd Engineering, Inc. (LEI) when berthing structures, wharves and marine terminals need to perform under real cargo loads, storm exposure and decades of saltwater service. Since 1981, LEI has designed, assessed and rehabilitated waterfront infrastructure for public and private clients across the U.S. Gulf Coast, the Caribbean, Latin America, and beyond.
LEI brings three disciplines together under one roof, not three separate practices loosely connected. Our engineering teams design the structures. Our environmental teams secure the federal, state, and local approvals those structures need to get built. Our survey teams generate the field data both depend on. That integration means a client gets one point of accountability across a project’s full technical and regulatory lifecycle, not a handoff between disconnected specialists.
Our multidisciplinary team of nearly 50 professionals spans 5 to over 40 years of field experience, giving clients both the depth to handle a project’s most demanding technical questions and the bench strength to staff it from concept through construction.
