Our Mission: Fueling Hope and Healing
At Dream Rydes, we believe that a child’s journey toward recovery requires both physical access to medicine and the emotional strength to keep fighting. Based in the Greater Houston and Galveston areas, we support pediatric patients battling cancer and life-threatening illnesses through two distinct, high-impact programs:
1. Reliable Rydes – Transportation Aid Program
This is our ''operational lifeline.'' Many families face immense logistical barriers getting to critical treatments. Through our Reliable Rydes program, we utilize our specialized Sprinter van to provide safe, dependable transportation to and from hospital treatments. We are currently fundraising to expand this program by hiring additional professional drivers and covering the rising fuel and maintenance costs for our growing fleet, ensuring no appointment is ever missed due to a lack of transportation.
2. Ryde of a Lifetime – Experience Program
While medicine treats the body, joy treats the soul. Our Ryde of a Lifetime program provides patients and their siblings with a much-needed escape from the hospital walls. We curate a ''Dream Day'' where the family is picked up in a supercar or other exotic vehicle and whisked away to a special activity designed specifically for them. These experiences allow families to create cherished memories and ''fuel their recovery'' with joy, laughter, and a sense of wonder.
