About Us
My name is Karen Ball and I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2015. After Chemo, Radiation, and 3 major surgeries, with the best possible medical team and facility, I graduated to Survivorship in 2021. I have been fundraising to support MD Anderson's Mission to End Cancer thru The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center's Boot Walk to End Cancer since its inception in 2016. I feel privileged to give back as there is an urgent need to accelerate research on ALL Types of Cancer so it will not impact families, friends and neighbors the way it faced me head on. By the Grace of God and MD Anderson, I am not only surviving, I am thriving! Every day is a blessing and an opportunity for me to make a difference. I have a wonderful team that works with me as we stand united together to do our part and make a difference! Join my team Casting out Cancer.
