Do you have a love of textiles with a desire to broaden your scope, innovate and create? Now hiring an enthusiastic, hands-on helper for a custom drapery workroom. Basic sewing experience a plus but not required.... we will train you :) Duties include fabrication of custom high-end draperies, Roman shades, cushions and pillows. Basic cleanup and putting away tools. Potential to develop a new skill set and grow with a rapidly expanding local business.
Our custom 1500 square foot workroom located in the second story of a residential home is equipped with six customized rolling tables and industrial sewing machines to facilitate a relaxed yet professional environment that is reflective of our commitment to producing the highest quality luxury draperies in Houston. We are looking for a dependable "Go-Getter" that appreciates a casual work environment. We offer a flexible schedule with a 30-35 hour/week, Monday-Friday 9am-6pm.
