Saengerfest Park Mini Monster Bash
The Saengerfest Park Mini Monster Bash is a free, family friendly Halloween carnival, scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. at Saengerfest Park, 2302 Strand. Festivities include children’s costume contests for ages 0-11, assorted games with prizes, activities for all ages and trick or treating at various downtown businesses. Children compete for prizes for the scariest, cutest and most creative costumes. Other activities include arts and crafts, face painting and other games. During the Bash, Haunted Mayfield Manor is offering a child-friendly haunted house, children’s ghost stories and discounted tickets to Haunted Mayfield Manor and Pirates! Legends of the Gulf Coast. Saengerfest Mini Monster Bash is presented by Mitchell Historic Properties and Haunted Mayfield Manor. Haunted Mayfield Manor is housed in the 1885 Butterowe Building, located off Saengerfest Park (23rdand Strand).
