On May 11, Bradley Brooks, Curator of the Bayou Bend Collections at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, will explore the histories and stewardship experience with a range of homes he has cared for over his career. His talk, “100 Years in Five Homes: Behind the Curtains of 20th Century Historic House Museums” cover homes ranging from Galveston’s own 1895 Moody Mansion to Eero Saarinen’s 1953 Miller House in Columbus, Indiana.
