Light Up the Night-Sexual Assault & Child Abuse Awareness Walk
You are invited to our annual Light Up the Night event on April 11, 2024, at Clear Lake Park in the White Top Pavilion from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. This is a family-friendly event where we recognize Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Awareness Month. The event will kick off with a walk down NASA Parkway from the park to the Hilton (people will be on the sidewalk, and there is a barrier) to bring much-needed attention to the causes of sexual abuse and child abuse prevention. What can you expect at this event? You can expect: Resources for community members A K9 Demonstration from the League City Police Department Bounce house for the kids Games like Jenga, Cornhole, and more Grilled burgers and hotdogs Raffle DJ Candlelight Vigil to Honor Survivors Fellowship! Join us in making this a memorable event for our community. We host this event to bring our community together and ask them to join us in this fight to end sexual violence and child abuse.
