The Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce is proud to offer the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce Toastmasters Club, a resource designed to help professionals strengthen their communication and leadership abilities.

Toastmasters International provides a supportive, proven framework for developing:

Public speaking skills
Interpersonal and professional communication
Leadership development
Self‑confidence

Members participate in engaging activities such as prepared speeches, impromptu speaking, constructive evaluations, and mentorship. Through Toastmasters’ interactive online learning platform, Pathways, participants can choose personalized projects that align with their individual goals and professional growth.

Meetings will be held at the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce office. Currently, meetings are scheduled on the second Thursday of the month at 8:30 am and the fourth Tuesday of the month at 5:30 pm. Some adjustments may occur based on Chamber events and holidays.

Fees/Admission

Dues are paid directly to the Club.

Open to current Galveston Regional Chamber members
Toastmasters’ International new member fee: $28 (to cover dues and sales tax charged by TMI/one-time)
Toastmasters’ six-month membership and chapter dues: $72 for 6 months (includes $60 for Toastmasters membership and $12 for chapter dues). NOTE: As a charter member of this chapter, you commit to being a member for 6 months.
Renewal Dates: March and September (Pro-rated by the month you join if not in March or September)
