A Bark in the Park
The 5th annual "a BARK in the PARK" Dog Show will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015 in one of Galveston Island's most popular historic districts - the tree - shaded Kempner Park, 27th and Avenue O. A phenomenal success last year, this fun, family - and canine - friendly event is set for 10am - 2pm. All dogs and all breeds (and their families!) are welcome. Vendors will showcase everything from pet supplies to hand-made canine gift items. In addition, educational seminars about spay-neuter, micro-chips, and obedience training, etc. will be held. Onsite will be artists, photographers, face painters, a Farmer's Market, terrific booths with family-friendly foods, lemonade, and so much more. For information, call 409.771.1747.
Entry fee is $10 per dog. All proceeds benefit the Galveston Island Humane Society.
