6th Annual Saengerfest Park Mini Monster Bash
The 6th annual Saengerfest Mini Monster Bash will take place Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The festival will be free to the public and include trick or treating throughout downtown, games, crafts, face painting, treats and a costume contest. Children will compete for prizes for the scariest, cutest and most creative costumes for ages 0-2; 3-5; 6-8; and 9-11. For families just looking for some Halloween fun, the park will be decorated to provide the ideal backdrop for Halloween photos. Mitchell Historic Properties originally created the Saengerfest Mini Monster Bash in 2011 to provide a safe Halloween festival for the Galveston community that was fun for kids of all ages. The festival has lived up to the initial goal and has continued to grow in popularity and participation each year.
