2025 Galveston County Day at the Capitol in Austin
Have you registered yet? Join Galveston County officials and Galveston County Chambers of Commerce as we embark on our upcoming Galveston County Day at the Texas State Capitol on March 6, 2025. Last year more than 400 business and community leaders advocated for this region with state legislators by bringing the voice of the county to the capital.
This bi-annual event brings together the Chamber of Commerce and government representatives to engage with Texas legislators on critical issues including infrastructure – funding for ports and waterways, drainage and coastal protection, government reform, mental health funding, economic development, windstorm and flood insurance reform, workforce training, tourism and education.
Registered participants will work in teams and have the unique opportunity to explore the Capitol, learn about key bills impacting our community, and engage in meaningful discussions with lawmakers.
This event is a vital platform for voicing concerns and advocating for our community's needs. Join us in making a difference! Participants must register in advance.
The date will conclude with a Galveston County event with legislators.
