DESCRIPTION:Our Fall Printmaking Sampler course and will cover block printing and etching\, taught by graphic designer/printmaker Betsy Campbell of Betsy by Design. Classes 1 - 2 will focus on the basics including transferring\, carving\, inking and printing your design using easy-carve linoleum tiles. Classes 3 - 4 will expand on the reductive printmaking process and will introduce woodcutting and multiple-block printing. Classes 5 - 6 will explore drypoint etching\, using etching needles on plexiglass and printing on wet paper.
